Tom proposes arrests of gangbangers (read blacks & latinos) and other
youth (read blacks & latinos) from Minneapolis downtown so that he can
feel comfortable and pig out at a local restaurant. Even if the youth
or supposed gangbangers (read blacks & latinos) are not committing any
crime! Sorry there Tom Goebbels, The year is 2005, The city is
Minneapolis.... Not Berlin in 1936. Fortunately, downtown is policed by
the Minneapolis Police Department and not the Gestapo.
Disclaimer: Most decent Minnesotans find Barnyard's commentary
revolting.

Senator John Marty letter about KQRS
KQRS Remembers Its Rights, But Ignores Its Responsibilities
http://www.apple-pie.org/ttp/default.asp?articleid=2
Unfortunately, several days after the shock of such brutality fades, we
return to our casual acceptance of racist rhetoric. Take the recent
controversy over the KQRS "Morning Show". The June 9th broadcast, where
the show's hosts reacted to the tragic murder of a newborn with
derisive sneering at the Hmong community and culture, did not offend
every Minnesotan. It probably did not even offend every Hmong
Minnesotan. But it certainly did not promote understanding and respect.
Host Tom Barnard was fostering simplistic stereotypes and racial
resentment.
As the KQRS controversy grows, many Minnesotans have expressed their
disgust at the station's irresponsible behavior, and its stubborn
refusal to apologize. A growing number of corporate sponsors have
chosen to pull advertising from the station.
The Morning Show hosts delude themselves into thinking that building
racial resentment is ok, as long as they offend others too. Tom
Barnard's hate-filled and offensive remarks about Carl Pohlad during
the stadium debate last year were equally unacceptable, not a
justification for his verbal assaults on people from other cultures.
Like Earl Butz, Tom Barnard has a constitutional right to use crude
racist humor. Unfortunately, unlike President Ford, who held Butz
accountable, KQRS management has been unwilling to provide even a
simple apology. They seem pleased that Barnard is attacking those
individuals and businesses who dare to stand up to his hateful
rhetoric. They brag that the "Morning Show" ratings are up.
Tom Barnard, his co-hosts, and KQRS management certainly know their
rights. It would be a welcome change if they would learn their
responsibilities too. They could actually apologize. They could help
make our community more welcoming to people of every race and ethnic
background. And that would be within their constitutional rights too.

Muslim Countries and organization are not denouncing terrorism... according to kqrs
Theme: Misinformation with a touch of Xenophobia
Leading Muslim scholars across the world are condemning those who use
their religion to commit acts of terror and violence, says the US State
Department. The department's spokesman Sean McCormack made this
observation while commenting on a fatwa issued here on Thursday that
condemned extremist attacks on innocent people as un-Islamic.
Eighteen leading jurists, who issued the fatwa, and representatives of
more than 120 Muslim groups representing all sects and schools of
thoughts, also said that Muslims in general abhorred the behaviour of
people like Osama bin Laden, Zarqawi and others belonging to terrorist
groups.
Mr McCormack recalled that King Abdullah of Jordan recently hosted a
meeting of Sunni and Shia clerics in Amman, who declared that those who
used the Islamic faith as a justification for acts of terror did not
represent Islam and Muslims.
The fatwa, issued in Washington, 'is a noteworthy effort and
development,' he said but made it clear that it was 'a private
effort' and had nothing to do with any government. Meanwhile, at
mosques across the US prayer leaders read out the fatwa in their Friday
sermons. They said violence against innocent people was forbidden and
it was the duty of Muslim leaders to dissuade, speak out against such
events.

Catman Barnard calls OTHERS UGLY!
Theme: Hypocrisy
Tom is constantly calling people "homely", disgusting, ugly, nasty and
of all things FAT! Has anybody seen this guy?
Take a look at Tom and draw your own conclusion about Mr. GQ:
Sexy Tom Barnard of KQRS
Fat Fruitcake
Tuxedo
How can a guy who looks like he was the inspiration for the character
"fat bastard" from Austin Powers make comments about the way other
people look!!!!
I think his qualifications to call people hideous are the same as his
ability to discuss matters of state, social issues, foreign affairs
etc.
For god sake, this guys' buttocks are the size of two football fields.
Conclusion: Tom is NOT looking good. Being hateful is not good for
aging well.

Tom Barnard's "superior" culture...
Tom Barnyard portrays himself as this CLASSY, cultured european
gentleman with discriminating taste. Here is some of Tom's culture:
I'm not a regular listener, but from what I can make out, Barnard's
program is a popular local version of the sort of "outrageous" morning
radio Howard Stern pioneered back in the '80's. Barnard won a
much-publicized ratings battle with Stern some time back. The format,
tone and content of Barnard's program seem to owe a lot to Stern's
"good taste".
According to Barnard, Bachmann had called in the day before her
appearance trying to get on the show, but had missed him. So, on
Thursday, May 12, Barnard asked her to call in again. Prior to
Bachmann's guest appearance, Barnard went into a funny radio "bit:
---the sort of material typically associated with this kind of program.
This bit was about "first date" tips from Maxim Magazine: "In a woman's
mind the main purpose of a first date with you is to figure out why you
are not coitus-worthy." Barnard added: "And that's kind of weak because
you may like her or may wish to fornicate with her..." This was
punctuated by playing a sound byte of a woman who said: "Tread lightly,
who lives in hope of p***y."
Barnard and his crew and callers filled the airwaves with jokes about
men and women getting rid of the clap and trading crabs ("I'll give you
two blind ones for one with no teeth"). Then they took a call from a
guy who told us all about "a foot-long bloater" in the toilet during a
first date. Shortly after another hilarious "I'm Rick James, "b***h
sound byte, Barnard was told that Sen. Bachmann was on the line.
Calling from a traffic jam, she was on hold and waiting to join the
fun. I don't know if any of you have ever called in to talk radio. When
you're on hold, waiting to speak, you hear the show as it is being
broadcast ---it's relayed though your phone as well as the radio. So,
while Bachmann was on hold, it is likely that she was enjoying the rest
of the sexy first date routine and another outrageous sound byte ("I
think what I'm most known for is my "wiener").
Conclusion: I think I would rather hang out with some Minnesotans,
Somalis and Hmongs than Tom Barnard. He can continue to provide
"classy", "cultured" training to his listeners.

Hip Hop is Evil. Death Metal... not so much
Theme: Racism, Hypocrisy
Tom declares ALL rappers are Gangsters. According to Tom, Hip Hop
culture is the worst thing to happen to America. I certainly admit that
some but not ALL of Rap glorifies thug culture, pimping and other
undesirable elements. However, for Barnyard this is simply another
excuse to bash African Americans. If Barnard was genuinely concerned
about the well-being of blacks, we would hear something against Death
Metal. We would hear somethign about the drug culture of the classic
rock in the 60's and 70's that is played a THOUSAND times on Barnard's
station. The subject matter of death metal is just as bad as hip hop if
not worse. (It can't get worse than glorifying death right?) We never
hear about Death Metal or the violence in Heavy Metal such as
Metallica's "Kill 'em All". If Tom Barnyard is not racist, why the
double standard? I think the prejudicial treatment of these two genres
and the general demographic makeup of their respective creators is
conveniently coincidental.
Disclaimer: Metallica is awesome. Their example was used for
explanatory purposes.

KQ savages giggle at Duante Culpepper's Injury
Tom Barnard HATES both Dennis Green (black) and Duante Culpepper
(black). He calls Denny the worst coach in the history of sports which
is a much kinder label than "fat bastard". However, The fact is Denny
was not the worst coach in VIKING history let alone sports history. The
worst coach in Viking history was Les Steckel (white) going 3-13 in
1984. Don't think for a minute that this KQRSMS poison is anything
other than racism disguised as "sports commentary". In the past, Tom
has taken his idol Rush Limbaugh's line that NFC Conference
Championship regular Donovan McNabb is forced-fed to the audience
because he is black. Yup, it has nothing to do with his stats, wins,
playoffs, performance and all that other unimportant stuff.... He also
has an irrational dislike of Michael Vick (black). Apparently, all
three quarterbacks lack intelligence. Stereotype sound familiar???
Dennis Green, although not perfect, brought the Vikings to two NFC
Conference Championships. He has as many superbowl wins as Tom
Barnard's hero Bud Grant (white). Jerry Burns (white) also didn't fare
any better than Denny and had one less NFC Conference Championshiop
game than Denny. Even Mike Tice is blamed on Denny Green "legacy".
(Three years removed from the franchise). The draft of McKinnie was
blamed on Dennis Green. Denny wasn't even part of the organization at
that time. He was drafted two rounds late by Tice. But hey, who cares
about FACTS? I don't want to rip on these other coaches. They were all
decent coaches with the exception of Les Steckel. However, I do want to
make a comparative analysis to expose Barnard's racist bias.
The KQ Savages giggled and enjoyed the fact that quarterback Duante
Culpepper recieved a "career-ending" injury. Tom Barnard and Bryce are
the most repulsive humans on this planet. Duante is devastated with an
MCL, ACL, PCL injury. His knee is shredded and these dreaded scumbags
are loving every minute of it. They are literally celebrating his
injury. I wonder how Tom Barnard's fat ass would feel if he tripped and
tore his knee on his way to the fridge while foraging for a midnight
snack.... How would he like it if people enjoyed this misfortune?
On air, the scumbags joked "Now that Duante doesn't have a leg, will
Paul McCartney call for a date?" This passes as humor for these
animals. Even the most die hard fans of the opposing team cheer an
injured player off the field!
By the way, There was an immediate disclaimer about previous savior
Brad Johnson (white) not being able to win because the team sucks! How
come Duante did not recieve this preferential treatment? Brad Johnson
is a classy guy and I don't know why he is mixed up with this toxic
radio show. Brad is an honorable persona and I hope he distances
himself from fatlard now that he is the starter. I hope Duante recovers
fully and comes back to win a superbowl just so he can spit on KQRSMS.
Even If Duante does not recover from his injury as KQRSMS wishes, he
can be content with the fact that he has more $$$ than Barnard can ever
imagine. Barnard will have to do cheesy voice-overs for the next 100
years just to make enough money to buy those diamond earings!
Best of Luck to Duante, the Vikings, Mike Tice and Brad Johnson the
rest of the way.
